As a social worker and the mother of two young children, I have a desire to help children grow into their best character.  Through past professional roles in children’s advocacy centers, a domestic violence shelter, a mental health center, and an elementary school, I’ve experienced the resilience of children and their capacity for growth.  I believe that all children have character strengths which need to be recognized, celebrated, and shared.

I hold a Master of Social Work degree from Wichita State University and maintain professional LMSW licenses in both Missouri and Kansas.  Prior to my graduate work, I earned a B.A. in Global Peace and Justice Studies and a B.A. in Music from Bethel College.
